Cocktail chic for the shoebox

Bar carts are the ultimate home décor item for hosting

ROUNDUP. I’ll have cocktails in the bedroom, dahling! Just because we don’t live in an era where people wear silk turbans and flick cigarette holders doesn’t mean you can’t still live out your dreams of hosting wild “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”-esque cocktail parties. What you need is a bar cart (our latest obsession), which is a chic way to store your booze, doesn’t take up a lot of space (let’s face it — your 5-by-5 apartment doesn’t have room for a dining table, let alone bar) and rolls to any room where you want to get the party started.

Bar carts are very old school glam but work just as well at your next dance party holding, say, a batch of blueberry mojitos. Just try and avoid repeatedly using the expression “This is how I roll.”
