Red Sox:
The Sox and Jays lock horns in the first game of a three-game series tonight at 7 at Fenway (NESN, 680 AM WRKO). Boston turns to lefty Jon Lester (1-2, 5.40 ERA) to stop its longest losing skid since 2006, while Toronto is set to counter with ace righty Roy Halladay (2-3, 3.73 ERA). Entering tonight’s game, Halladay is on the verge of doing what no big-league pitcher has done since 2003: throw four consecutive complete games.

Celtics:
The Celtics meet the Hawks in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference playoff series tomorrow night at 8 at the TD Banknorth Garden (CSN, Sportsradio 850 WEEI).

Revolution:
The Revs next meet the Chicago Fire at Gillette Stadium Saturday at 7:30 p.m. (TV38).
