A piece of furniture for every use

Benches are a single city-dweller’s best friend

ROUNDUP. If you’re single in Boston, it means you’re busy. Not only do you probably have a life-sucking job, but you also have all this pressure to go out every night and have a great time at the hottest spots, which means trying on lots of clothes that get thrown on your bed and stay unfolded for days. Your apartment is tiny; subscriptions to Boston  magazine, The Dig and all other required T reads pile up. There’s clutter everywhere. And since you’re not planning to move to a state where you could use all that wasted rent money on a cleaning lady, we have the perfect solution that every Bostonian should have in their apartment: a bench.

Benches give you extra seating when friends come over, are easy to move from room to room, and provide extra surface area to dump clothes and mags on when it’s time to clear the bed for any, ahem, overnight guest. Oh, and they’re cute. Here’s a selection of our favorites.
