Graphic prints done three ways

FASHION. If you’ve started shopping for summer, you’ve most likely seen clothing racks filled with light jackets, tees, blouses, trousers and skirts in bold prints. But our favorite form of the popular trend is in the dress. It’s also the easiest way to pull the look off without looking overdone.

For work: ECI New York, $118, 212-302-2244

How to pull it off

“Keep the silhouette simple,” says Sharon Lavi who began making timeless dresses in bold prints under the name Nieves Lavi long before it became the trend of the season. Lavi and her partner,  Sam Nieves Velez, worked as designers for Ralph Lauren and DKNY Jeans before branching out on their own. “And accessorize wisely. A great print can stand on its own,” Velez adds.
