Hillary, girlfriend: you are starting to make a fool of yourself.
Yes, the media keeps giving any of your pathetic, goalpost-moving arguments attention to extend your now-doomed presidential candidacy credence. But the media only wants to keep the political jousting going between you and Barack Obama for profiteering. Ratings for this election cycle are at lofty war-coverage levels.
But Hillary honey, you are teetering on racism. Your recent comments during a USA Today editorial board meeting are unacceptable: “I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on.” But that’s not the racist part. That comes here: “Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.” Ugh.
Hillary, I know you are stunned since that thumping you took in North Carolina and that narrow win in Indiana last week. Even a decisive victory over Obama in West Virginia yesterday would be too little, too late. Obama’s “weakening” coalition has kicked your sorry establishment butt from Maine to Guam. That same “weakening” coalition has garnered the junior senator from Illinois with the Muslim sounding name the most votes, the most pledged delegates, the most superdelegates and the most contests won.
Quit playing the race card, Hillary. Your argument that you are a better candidate in the general election because you got the white vote is like Patrick Ewing’s Knicks telling NBA Commissioner David Stern that despite losing series after series to Michael Jordan’s Bulls that the Knicks should still go to the NBA Finals.
Ever since the South Carolina primary, your campaign has done everything to tell voters that Barack Obama “is not one of us.” Keep up this race-baiting Hillary and soon enough, you will be akin to the town idiot in Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles.” In that film, the idiot is perched atop the bell tower to get the first look at the new sheriff riding into town. But when he recognized the new sheriff is black, the idiot resorted to name-calling.
“He’s a (racial epithet)!” he yells to the townspeople below, but gets drowned out by the ringing of the bell every time he tries to get out the racial slur. Hillary, if you continue to play the race card, your future among the Democrats won’t just be that of sore loser. You could soon be known as the party idiot.
