BOSTON. A Leominster bridal shop was ordered to reimburse costumers for failing to provide gowns, tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses and not returning deposits to customers that never received their goods. Yours Truly will pay approximately $2,900 in restitution to 10 consumers and $5,000 in civil penalties.

According to Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office, the company enticed future brides into making special orders on gowns that either never arrived, arrived late or were improperly altered.    METRO/TL

BOSTON. A Lawrence man convicted of arson has been sentenced to life in prison for a fire that killed a 26-year-old mother and her daughter. Harry Guzman was convicted by a federal jury in January in the 2003 fire that killed Matilda Medina and her 2-month-old daughter, Angelic Duran.    AP
