GOSSIP. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have purchased a $60 million, 1,000-acre estate named Chateau Miraval in the South of France. The mansion features 35 bedrooms, two swimming pools, two gyms, 20 fountains, a vineyard, a lake and a moat, according to E! News. Neighbors include Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis and Bono. Sounds lovely, but really? 35 bedrooms? We hope this very large number is not indicative of how many children those two plan on having.
Another movie set curse?
For the past few months, the Internet has been abuzz with the possibility of a jinx on the set of the new James Bond film, “Quantum of Solace.” Three stuntmen have been seriously injured, a technician was knifed, and production has stopped on several occasions for a myriad of different reasons. But now it’s looking like another upcoming flick might be cursed. The new Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” has suffered through many abnormal problems, including production delays due to bad storms and death threats sent to star Daniel Radcliffe. Now there is even more disturbing news: 18-year-old actor Rob Knox, who plays the role of Hogwarts student Marcus Belby in the new film, was fatally stabbed Saturday morning outside of a southeast London pub. Police are still questioning a 21-year-old male suspect, reports the BBC.
