Hasselhoff and his chariot continue the search for their Scottish castle. Hasselhoff and his chariot continue the search for their Scottish castle.

If it looks, sounds and acts Scottish

GOSSIP. While visiting “The Late Late Show,” talent show judge David Hasselhoff asked host Craig Ferguson for a little real estate advice. “I’m doing an album of Broadway musicals and I’m going to premiere in a little castle I’m looking for in Scotland,” the “Nick Fury: Agent of Shield” star explained. “As a matter of fact, I’m looking for the Hassel Castle. You’re from Scotland aren’t you? Can you help me find one?”

If this were anyone else, we’d assume they were joking. But then we remember how we laughed when Hasselhoff said he was going to star in “Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical.” And then he did.

We can just imagine the grandeur and regality of the court at the Hassel Castle: As heralds trumpet out hits like “Wir Zwei Allein” and “Du,” His Majesty the Hoff will recline shirtless on a dais, lovingly devouring the cheeseburger of his choice while devoted subjects shower him with edelweiss petals and schnitzel. Outside, a gilded carriage pulled by a fleet of black Trans Ams will stand at the ready.

In a related story, the Scottish National Trust has asked residents to take any castles they may be selling off the market.

Shilling down under
Not enough former “Baywatch” star action for you? Australia’s Network Ten has announced that Pamela Anderson will be visiting the “Big Brother” house next month to teach the housemates the “tricks of her trade.” We’re not sure which tricks and which trade they’re talking about, but given the fact that this is “Big Brother” and that in this edition all the contestants sleep in one big bed, we’re guessing they’re not interested in her humanitarian efforts with PETA.

Those of you keeping up with the Australian “Big Brother” will be happy to know that this Sunday, midget belly-dancer Rima is returning to the house. As you’ll recall, she was forced to leave in May when she broke her leg. We wish we were making this up.

Any postpartum thoughts?
New mom and future valedictorian Jamie Lynn Spears has had some time to think about parenthood now that she’s given birth to her daughter, Maddie Briann. “More than anything, I just want this baby to have a normal life,” the 17-year-old told OK! magazine. We can only imagine that means she’s putting the baby up for adoption.
